Two WIFI connected laptops (one works as the timer and the other records race bib numbers) work concurrently to provide timing and placement data to each other in real-time. No more having to wait until after the race is complete to copy and merge timing and bib data – and to correct discrepancies. With xcscoreboard, this is all done naturally, in real-time, during the race. No more having to scramble to assemble results while racers and fans sit by anticipating the results. With or without a timing system, the orchestration feature exists as the perfect tool to correct and/or confirm bib placement order.
